When we shared the Conversations with Life work for the first time, these lines from Rumi came to us time and again, and we would love to share them with you now:

Marion Rose Ph.D.

Marion is a facilitator and a messenger who has a deep love for the meaningfulness of life. She loves listening to those whom others may not fully listen to: babies and children, animals and nature beings. She loves the spoken and written word and is passionate about hearing the messages behind what people say that they may not realise themselves.

Marion has been involved in the fields of developmental psychology, psychospiritual psychotherapy, consciousness exploration, Aware Parenting and Psychospiritual Parenting for more than 30 years.

Marion first learnt about Conversations with Life as a child from her Dad, then deepened her experience when training in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy in the 90’s. She went on to train with The Field Project from 2005 until 2010, (and became a Field Project Certified Facilitator) where she learnt so much about listening to messages from the ‘Field’ (what she now calls ‘Life’). She also studied Aligned Parenting there, which sees how children are particularly powerful messengers from Life.

She offers online courses and mentoring and loves 1-1 sessions and groups where all the events that happen around those moments are seen as part of the Conversation - what the child calls out from the other room, the sound suddenly going quiet on the Zoom call, or the specific words of the song that the neighbours start playing in the session.

In these ways she loves inviting others into living in deep relationship with Life that brings a deep sense of belonging, meaning, power and love.

Mary is a writer, poet and maker. She has a way of seeing the natural world that brings joy to others. She lives her life in deep responsiveness to Life and expresses the beauty she sees in ways that helps others see more deeply and meaningfully.

Mary could always feel that Life was trying to communicate with her. For years she didn’t know what any of it meant. It was a one-sided conversation, and she felt frustrated and confused. The more she came to trust herself, and Life, the more fully she came into conversation with Life. Things moved up a notch 13 years ago when she was pregnant with her oldest son. It became hard to ignore that Life was communicating with her!

The conversation deepened with every subsequent pregnancy; again when she began to write poetry, and further still when she came more fully into relationship with the land she lives on.

Mary’s poetry is born through that conversation with Life, and speaks of the conversation with Life that is available to us all. Her poetry offers wisdom, insight and a profound sense of connection. It connects readers deeply to our full range of human emotions, and extends a hand of understanding and of hope.

Mary is the author of Lullaby for Mothers, a collection of poems about motherhood. The poems of that collection, as well the hundreds of other poems she has written, are shared regularly on social media, and she makes them freely available on her website.

Mary offers poetry workshops as well as the creative immersion programme Meet Your Creative Self, and is the creator of the Otherworldly community.
